After the Mother Goddess of Depravity descended and destroyed Fourth Epoch Trier, Jack Walton and a few others survived the initial impact with the help of two Grade 0 Sealed Artifacts, because they weren't the primary target. Although he had to watch his colleagues turn into grotesque monstrosities, he managed to return to the safe zone using the unique properties of The Fourth Sun.
