Concerto of Light and Shadow

An iron-skinned pocket watch whose face is half filled with neatly arranged symbols and half chaotic. It can restrict certain actions within its area and strip certain Beyonder powers from a target. It can inflict negative effects, making the target sluggish, eager, avaricious, or robbed of fighting spirit, and it can distort the target's speech, actions, intentions, and attacks, reducing a lethal blow to a serious injury or repelling an attack entirely.

When the user enters a combat state, random changes affecting Beyonder abilities uncontrollably occur within its range. The Concerto of Light and Shadow is a grade 1 Sealed Artifact currently in the possession of the Church of the Evernight Goddess. Its abilities correspond to the Justiciar Pathway's Sequence 4 and the Black Emperor Pathway's Sequence 3.
