Beggars' Sect (Kaebang)

The Beggars' Sect, also called Kaebang, is a righteous sect of beggars that has survived on information alone and spreads comparatively reliable news. It is held to be a sect for people without worldly desires, of pure and noble heart. Han Seojin grew up a beggar in Kaebang and keeps a deep loyalty to its elders.

Kaebang spreads more reliable news than the Hao Gate, yet will not give up its own people to just anyone. Han Seojin is bound to the Kaebang elders by strong ties and is ready to throw himself into the fire for them. It is a comfort that the Beggars' Sect is not the Demonic Cult's main target, though its hot-blooded "uncles" are ready to rush barefoot into battle the moment the cult appears.
