Aster

Aster is the Second Prince of the magical kingdom of Yustia and the leading candidate for the throne, having been granted what is hailed as the strongest Bloodline Magic of his generation. Handsome, brilliant and utterly self-assured, he is celebrated by the court as a 'hero prince.'

His contempt for the weak drives much of the story's early cruelty: it was Aster who declared that anyone with 'Incompatibility' should be erased, the decree that finished Ermes's banishment. He takes Katia as his fiancée, then discards her as a 'Flawed Lady' and announces an engagement to Sara von Hartmann instead.

His bloodline magic, 'Fire Heaven Judgment,' is a pure offensive fire type of overwhelming firepower — but he has never fought an equal, having solved everything through raw talent. That blind spot sets up his eventual clash with Ermes and Katia.
