Tang Chen was the predecessor Clear Sky Douluo to Tang Hao and the former head of the Clear Sky Clan who mainly contributed to the sect's unrivaled rise into becoming the number one tool soul sect and one of the upper three sects on the Douluo Continent. He was the grandfather of Tang Xiao, Tang Hao and Tang Yuehua. He was the lover of the Sea God Douluo, Bo Saixi and the former successor of the Asura God position before Tang San. He was also the Slaughter King of Slaughter City before he regained his consciousness.
