Level 97 Lion Douluo first appears in episode 236 of the Donghua, where he arrives with his, Golden Crocodile Douluo, Azure Luan Douluo, Glowing Feather Douluo, Fifteen Ton Douluo and Falling Devil Douluo as backup to assist the defeated Bibi Dong in defending Jialing Pass on the orders of Qian Daoliu. Together with Green Luan Douluo and Glowing Feather Douluo, Lion Douluo lured the Tian Dou Imperial army into a dead end and massacred a huge number of them. He used his 8th ability, All beast bow down to mind control all beast soul masters present prompting Gu Rong to battle aganist him. This however was an attempt to distract and stall him, so that Glowing Feather Douluo may attack the retreating main army of Tian Dou Empire and assassinate Xue Beng with no obstacles.
