Veldora Tempest, the "Storm Dragon," is the fourth-oldest of the five True Dragons and one of the most feared beings in the world, commanding wind, water and space.
In human form he is a tall, blond, golden-eyed young man with zigzag black markings; in dragon form he is a hundred-meter colossus armored in black, steel-like scales. Boisterous, prideful and boastful, Veldora is also shy, socially awkward and secretly terrified of his elder sisters — and an avid reader of the manga stored in Rimuru's memories, which he calls his "sacred texts."
Sealed inside an Infinity Prison by a Hero three centuries ago, Veldora was left in monotonous boredom until a small slime bumped into him. Their friendship led Rimuru to store him safely inside his own body; once freed, Veldora took up residence in Tempest as its guardian and, sharing a Soul Corridor with Rimuru, became functionally immortal.
