Motoyasu Kitamura is a twenty-one-year-old summoned to wield the Legendary Spear as one of the Four Legendary Heroes. He has long blond hair tied in a ponytail and bright orange eyes.
The friendliest of the four heroes, he is loyal to his allies but extraordinarily naive, especially toward women, whom he idealizes as incapable of wrongdoing. This makes him easy prey for Malty S Melromarc, who manipulates him into openly opposing Naofumi and defending her lies.
In his previous life he was a university student stabbed to death amid romantic entanglements, leaving him with a phobia of violent women. After eventually learning Malty's true nature he abandons her, and later develops an intense, obsessive fixation on filolials such as Filo.
