Tom is one of the Summer Queen's adoptive children and the youngest member of the "Nine Dragon Sons". Originally he was considered the weakest member of the 9, but during the Queen's final battle against the Martial King and her death, he quickly gained power and became the leader to one of the three primary factions of the fragmented Red Dragon, "Black Dragon". In the novel, Tom described as handsome man with a sculpted face and cold eyes. In the webtoon, Tom was shown to be a thin, but muscular young man with reddish brown hair, light skin and copper eyes. Tom himself also wore a a golden earing accessory with a small red gem in the middle. Tom was also shown to have two beauty marks directly underneath his left eye.
Tom was shown to be deeply loyal to his adoptive mother, the Summer Queen and would follow her orders and commands to the letter. This is seen where he frantically lent his aid to her and followed her orders in order to help restore her dragon heart and find a suitable replacement through any means necessary to save her.
