Atou

Atou is Takuto's first and foremost apostle, and the one he loves above all his characters: the epic hero unit of the evil nation Mynoghra. Ash-silver hair, a jet-black mantle wrapped around a slender body, strange metal ornaments, and eyes like a beckoning abyss — by those eyes Takuto recognizes his favorite heroine at first sight. The moment he awakens in another world, she is already there, bowing and calling him king.

By Mynoghra's legend, Atou was born from mud by a nameless dreadful being — the evil answer to the human the good god made from dust. In the game she starts very weak, yet possesses tremendous affinities for Ruin, Darkness, and Chaos, can inherit the abilities of destroyed units, and grows faster than any other hero. She is at once 'Sinister,' 'Hero,' and 'Fanatic.'

Her devotion to Takuto is fanatical and total; she expresses her loyalty through flawless care and adoration and cannot imagine existing except for his sake. Behind her soft, sometimes childishly rapturous manner hides a monster beyond all logic — and it is on this pair, the dark god and his first apostle, that the whole realm of shadow rests from its earliest days.

'The great God of Light made man from dust. Then a nameless dreadful being bore Atou from mud.' Weak at the start yet unmatched in growth, Atou inherits the power of fallen foes — and, with Takuto, forms the core around which the whole nation of Mynoghra rises.
