Murim Alliance

The Murim Alliance is a union of righteous sects and clans, the chief bulwark against the Demonic Cult. It is convened only rarely; its councils are held at the Shaolin Monastery in Henan Province, under an Alliance Leader. Its ranks include elders such as the Sword Lord of the Wudang Sect and the Three Venerables; in wartime the Alliance joins forces with clans like the Sichuan Tang Clan.

After the incident with Wi Cheongsan, the Poison King convenes the Alliance, and the Tang Clan sets out for Shaolin, where the Alliance Leader Baepae presides. The council decides the fates and verdicts of fighters, but is not always of one mind: the Poison King and the Sword Lord clash in a furious argument. When the Demonic Cult raises its head, the Alliance arrives at the battle sites, sifts the ashes for traces, and tries to show the cultists it stands firm.
