Hyeyul

Hyeyul is the eldest among the Emei Sect's second-generation disciples, the only one permitted to call Cheongwol simply by name. Light-hearted and fond of idleness, she keeps grating on the diligent Cheongwol with her carelessness, though beneath it lies a genuine wish to improve and earn the sect leader's recognition.

When the resentment building in Cheongwol spills over, it is Hyeyul's carelessness that sparks it: the two nearly come to blows before a junior disciple, Baekhi, pulls them apart. Hyeyul remains part of the everyday world of the Emei Sect, throwing the darkening nature of the Thousand-Year Flower into relief.
