The Hidden Dragon Society is a gathering of murim's younger-generation talents, where rising stars meet and form brotherly bonds. It convenes in taverns like the Pavilion of Drunken Clouds in Chengdu. The hero knows that later, when the Demonic Cult rises, only a handful of the whole Society will survive.
The Society's new recruits revel with delight in their fresh brotherly bonds. Cheongwol joins it briefly, then leaves "on business" and so is never close to the rest; Tang Chokkhon brings others into it as well. For the hero, the Society's fate is one more reminder of the slaughter bearing down on the younger generation.
