Potimas

Potimas Harrifenas is the patriarch of the elves and, though first presented as a mere supporting figure, the true main antagonist of the series. A mad scientist who has survived since before the System, he is utterly obsessed with achieving immortality.

A control freak and narcissist, his single-minded pursuit of eternal life earned him the Ruler of Diligence title but twisted him into a sociopath with the emotional maturity of a spoiled child. He discards any creature he creates — including his experiments, one of whom became Ariel — the moment they cease to be useful.

Hiding behind the elf village's impenetrable barrier, he manipulates world events from the shadows, throwing the planet into chaos in his endless quest to never die.
