Wilk

Apelidos: the eldest son of House Quordenze · young master

Descrição

Wilk is the eldest son and heir of House Quordenze, one of the mightiest marquis houses in the Kingdom of Levios. In his past life he was a Japanese man who died after a year-end drinking party, and he became aware of his reincarnation in early childhood. He received no gift from any god, but counts the place of his birth itself as fortune — not the third or fourth son of a poor border noble, but the firstborn of a powerful house. He means to defend this position at any cost and, mindful that in noble families brothers not seldom kill one another over the succession, prepares in advance for a possible future struggle.

He is level-headed, cynical, and coldly calculating: he blends the knowledge and prejudices of a modern Japanese man with the local aristocratic mindset absorbed over twelve years. Wilk wields a strong magical gift — by concentrating his magical force he cows and intimidates, and he also bars doors from a distance and amplifies his voice to address a crowd. Beyond his father's allowance he keeps a purse of his own, earning well by applying his past-life knowledge.

Ordered by his father to "know a woman" and given a budget for it, Wilk begins, with the help of his personal servant Tesh, to build a harem of his own — buying the elf slave Eve, growing close to the maid Minitt and other women. At the same time he distinguishes himself in war: he takes part in the fall of the merchant city of Nanbonan, grasps its politics better than many grown men, and at the surrender talks carries himself as a worthy son of Quordenze, earning the praise of his father and grandfather.

Abilities

Wilk has a strong magical gift for an aristocrat. Raw magical force — energy before it becomes a spell — does no harm, but by concentrating it he displays his might and cows those before him, up to outright intimidation. He can bar doors from a distance and amplify his voice with magic to address a whole square. A distinct advantage of his is not power but the past-life knowledge of a modern Japanese man, which he turns to profit as well as to an understanding of politics and war.

Harem

Ordered by his father to "know a woman" and given a budget, Wilk begins to assemble a harem of his own. First he buys the rare elf slave Eve, then grows close to the maid Minitt, whom he draws out of her earlier timidity and has call him by name in private. During the Nanbonan campaign the tavern waitress Anna and Koharyi, daughter of a ruined merchant house, are added to the line of women he takes. His harem-building goes hand in hand with his political and military successes.
