Mark (マルク) is a senior employee at Benno's store and his most trusted right-hand man. He has short brown hair and typically wears a waistcoat over a white shirt, carrying himself with the dignity of a true professional.
Kindhearted, thoughtful, and highly capable, Mark is unfailingly polite — but when someone disrespects Benno, he can reveal a well-hidden vindictive streak. He has known Benno since childhood, having been affiliated with the Gilberta Company since his own apprenticeship.
When Benno's father died and Benno inherited the struggling store, Mark chose to stay and support him; and when his own family tried to crush and absorb the Gilberta Company, he was so disgusted by the betrayal that he turned on his relatives and ruined their store. He now guides Lutz, privately vowing to raise the boy so he can survive being dragged around by Myne and Benno.
