Jiang Yu is the son of Jiang Tong and Jiang Chen's younger cousin. Slight and delicate in build, he affectionately calls Jiang Chen 'brother' and remains devoted to him throughout the family's trials.
In his cousin's shadow he carves out his own niche, serving as a first-rank disciple of the Myriad Treasures Palace and a business partner in ventures such as the Nine Magnificence Dew Wine, and even briefly ruling the Redbud Region. His gentle nature and good looks repeatedly draw trouble, and he is more than once captured and rescued during the family's turbulent years.
