Jiang Huan

Jiang Huan is a retainer placed on the Divine Abyss Continent by the Taiyuan Celestial Emperor long before Jiang Chen's reincarnation. Together with two sworn brothers, he was a secret contingency the Emperor prepared without telling anyone — not even his own son.
Arriving when the continent was still a barren land, Jiang Huan slept through long ages, waking every so often to search for signs of the Emperor's reincarnated heir. Under strict orders not to interfere, he watched demonic invasions, wars and dynasties rise and fall without acting, so as not to disturb his young lord's tempering. He also brought with him the four divine-beast cubs and an Amarantine Cloud Dew tree, and quietly raised Jiang Chen's exiled younger brother, Jiang You.
In time he reunites with Jiang Chen and sets out at his side, undertaking the long journey to the higher planes to rescue the captive Celestial Emperor from the Divine Prison Eternal.
