Carla Fou Wayne is one of the senior noble girls of the academy, the kind of student who treats commoner-track scholarship students as targets and views Olivia in particular as an affront. She is well-connected, vain, and convinced that her family name is shield enough for anything.
When her bullying of Olivia crosses into something Leon Fou Bartfort cannot ignore, she discovers the kingdom's casual matriarchal cruelty does not, in fact, extend to him. The fallout is swift, public, and disproportionately humiliating in the way Leon prefers.
Carla becomes one of the series' minor case studies: the noblewoman whose social currency Leon shreds without ever raising his voice. Later arcs use her as shorthand for the kind of academy bully who will continue to exist until the entire system collapses.
