Arroganz

Arroganz is Leon Fou Bartfort's signature Armor: a deliberately ugly, brutally heavy machine he claimed from a defeated black knight early in the series and then quietly fed to Luxion for upgrade after upgrade. It is far heavier and far less elegant than the noble custom Armors of the academy, which is exactly the point.

Inside, however, Arroganz runs on Old Humanity components mounted by Luxion: superior reactor, superior weapons, superior pilot interface. It is what allows Leon to beat the five capture targets — and later squadrons of trained military pilots — without breaking a sweat.

Its silhouette becomes a recurring symbol in the series: opponents who see Arroganz drop in to a battle understand, before any shot is fired, what is about to happen to them.
