Dragon Cave Mountain was just a throwaway land of the Hai Ke Family that was given to Yang Kai by Wu Yi as a place to stay upon arriving on Shadowed Star. However, Yang Kai commissioned his new Artifact Refiner, Yang Yan, who he was surprised to learn was also talented in Spirit Arrays, to build a Yuan Qi Gathering Array around the Mountain. Wu Yi would later be kicked out of the Hai Ke family before having many of her supporters and followers join her in taking up residence in Dragon Cave Mountain. Wu Yi, a proven leader, would then take over the management of the finances and business of Dragon Cave Mountain.
