Deskripsi
Baruch is the first Dragonblood Warrior of the Yulan continent and the founder of the Baruch Clan, making him Linley's distant ancestor. A muscular man with mussed brown hair and eyes said to flow with wisdom, he was a Saint while on the Yulan Plane and later became a God after ascending to the Infernal Realm.
His legend was built on monstrous feats: in the year 4560 he slew both a Black Dragon and a Titanic Frost Wyrm outside the city of Linnan, and in 4579 he executed a Nine-Headed Serpent Emperor after a battle lasting a full day and night along the northern coast. Afterward he founded the Baruch Clan and became its first leader; these are the very tales Hogg recounts to a young Linley in the clan's ancestral hall.
The Baruch Clan is in truth a branch — the Yulan Branch — of the mighty Redding Clan, the Azure Dragon clan of the Infernal Realm's Skyrite Mountains. There, ages later, Baruch reappears as the branch head who verifies Linley's identity, welcomes him into the clan, and explains its history and the Ancestral Baptism.
