"Guild Leader!"
Several high-ranking members of Unyielding Light heard Dark Sin Heart say this, and every single one of them gaped in shock.
That was five future prime plots of land!
"Say no more!" Dark Sin Heart had already steeled his resolve.
He had originally planned to earn money by killing Great Lords and selling top-grade Level 40 equipment, but with their current strength, they simply couldn't deal with Great Lords that were over Level 40.
The only remaining method to quickly earn a massive amount of gold was those five plots of land.
But those five plots couldn't be sold in the Twin Towers Kingdom at all.
King's Return had already made its stance clear in the Twin Towers Kingdom — no guild was willing to casually offend King's Return.
However, with Zero Wing's strength, even the super-first-rate guild Dragon Phoenix Pavilion had been left powerless against them. The super guild King's Return shouldn't be something to fear either.
Moreover, only a large guild like Zero Wing had the financial capability to come up with 13,000 gold in a short time. Zero Wing occupied a treasure like Stone Forest Town, and the mana crystals and gold it earned every day alone would make even those first-rate guilds envious. Although there were guilds that didn't fear King's Return, pulling together that much gold all at once would still take a considerable amount of time — something he simply couldn't afford to wait for.
"13,000 gold?" Shi Feng hadn't expected Dark Sin Heart to sell so cheaply.
The market value of those five plots should be around 20,000 gold right now. Plenty of people would be fighting over them, so getting them for just 13,000 gold was an absolute steal.
Not to mention that the Star Moon Kingdom was right next to the Twin Towers Kingdom. When Zero Wing expanded into the Twin Towers Kingdom in the future, these plots would bring considerable benefits.
"It seems Dark Sin Heart really has been backed into a corner." Shi Feng looked at Dark Sin Heart's nervous expression and understood more or less what situation the man was currently in.
But in his previous life, Unyielding Light had continued to exist, which meant King's Return hadn't eliminated them. Moreover, he had never heard of King's Return targeting Unyielding Light — or perhaps Unyielding Light had resolved the problem on its own.
"Deal. We'll buy those five plots," Shi Feng nodded. "But that's a huge sum — we'll need a little time to prepare. How about we make the transaction in three days?"
"Three days?" Dark Sin Heart considered it, and the tension in his expression eased considerably. "Thank you. I'll make sure to visit Zero Wing's headquarters in person when the time comes."
After that, Dark Sin Heart led the Unyielding Light members and departed from South Lake City.
"Guild Leader. Are we really going to offend King's Return?" Watery Rose asked Shi Feng through a private message.
The super guild King's Return was nothing like Dragon Phoenix Pavilion, and the Glory Empire wasn't very far from the Star Moon Kingdom. With the arrival of the mount era, the threat posed to Zero Wing was no laughing matter.
"We're fine — we're just doing a normal business transaction. If we stop doing anything because a super guild says a single word, then we might as well give up on competing in the Divine Realm," Shi Feng shook his head. "Besides, this isn't really a big deal. If King's Return were truly angry, they would have moved against Unyielding Light long ago. Unyielding Light has no power to resist them."
In his previous life, Dark Sin Heart had helped him. Now this was the least he could do — he would repay the favor from his past life, earn a tidy sum on the side, and earn Dark Sin Heart's gratitude in the process.
Letting Dark Sin Heart owe him a favor now. Someday, it might even be possible to bring Dark Sin Heart into Zero Wing's ranks.
Why wouldn't he do something like that?
"True. If we can get those five plots, Candlelight Trading Company will be able to expand over there as well," Watery Rose also felt that Shi Feng made a good point.
Zero Wing was no longer the weak little guild it used to be. If they cowered over every minor issue, the guild's growth would be in serious trouble going forward.
