Not long after Shi Feng departed from Meteorite Island aboard the Red Dragon airship, the members of every major power on the island had already frantically relayed the news of the airship back to their superiors.
As for the Free Alliance's reassessment of potential partners this time around — nobody paid that any attention at all.
The appearance of an airship meant that a brand-new era was about to begin!
"Guild Leader, guess what I just saw on Meteorite Island?"
"That's right — an airship! Someone actually got their hands on an airship!"
"You don't believe me? I've got video right here. Just take a look and you'll see — that airship is absolutely insane!"
……
Whether they were independent players or members of major factions, everyone on Meteorite Island could barely contain themselves whenever the airship came up — their eyes lit up, and their excitement was impossible to rein in.
The major factions who received this news, however, immediately thought these people had lost their minds. In the current Divine Realm, forget airships — even flying mounts were virtually nonexistent. How could anyone possibly possess an airship, that undisputed ruler of the skies?
But once they actually watched the footage of the Red Dragon airship, they were all stunned. They never imagined that someone in the Divine Realm truly had an airship.
Blazing hot!
Envious!
Greedy!
A torrent of frantic emotions surged into their hearts, and nearly all of them immediately issued orders — launch a full-scale investigation into Zero Wing. They had to find a way to obtain an airship or at the very least learn how one could be acquired. They were even willing to put up bounties of several Epic-grade weapons and equipment just for information on how the Red Dragon airship had been obtained. Even Shi Feng would have been speechless had he seen the offers.
While the major factions frantically investigated Zero Wing and the Red Dragon airship, Shi Feng was already piloting the airship over the vast, boundless Chaos Sea.
The Chaos Sea fell under the domain of dark forces. The region was teeming with chaotic and violent energies — for ordinary players, prolonged exposure would severely deteriorate their mental state. For dark-attribute players, however, it posed no problem whatsoever. In fact, their strength would actually be boosted here, making it highly beneficial. As a result, no ordinary player willingly ventured into this place; they kept as far away as humanly possible.
Moreover, the Chaos Sea was a body of water, which made it even more dangerous than land. Once you were surrounded at sea, there was nowhere to run. The Chaos Sea was nothing less than a death zone for ordinary players.
The moment they entered the Chaos Sea, An Zui Zhixin and the others felt an indescribable sense of oppression wash over their entire bodies, and their five senses dulled dramatically. They were unable to exert anything close to their normal combat power.
"So this is the Chaos Sea?" An Zui Zhixin gazed down at the waters below the airship, completely shrouded in a thin layer of mist, and felt a deep wave of relief wash over him.
The danger of the Chaos Sea was even greater than he had imagined.
That mist wasn't true fog — it was a phenomenon born of the chaotic energies, and it severely impacted the vision of ordinary players like them. At best, they could see roughly a thousand yards ahead. The mist, however, had absolutely no effect on dark-attribute players whatsoever.
That meant if they were out on the water, they would be spotted by those dark-attribute players long before they ever detected them. The initiative would rest entirely in the hands of the enemy, with no hope of escape.
Less than five minutes after the Red Dragon airship flew into the Chaos Sea, they spotted a group of players riding atop massive magical beasts, surrounding and attacking a Level 93 Legendary sea creature.
