Nim took out an item from his animal hide clothing. It seemed to be a magnifying glass with a handle.
At first glance, Klein almost mistook it for a monocle, his heart skipping a beat. Fortunately, he managed to control himself in time, confirming the details.
Nim held the thin metal handle, brought the glass object to his right eye, and examined Ruth for a few seconds through the lens.
After a brief silence, he put the item down and nodded lightly to the other Moon City residents.
The people besides Ruth finally reached out cautiously and orderly, each taking a mushroom from the long skewer and stuffing it into their mouths.
The texture, completely free of any disgusting smell or filth, instantly intoxicated them. Forgetting that it could burn their mouths, they swallowed the mushroom in a few bites and instinctively reached out for another. But the mushrooms on the skewer were all gone.

Klein looked around and repeated the words he had said before:
"The mushrooms around here can be picked at will, except for the pure black ones. Also, they must be completely cooked before eating, otherwise you will suffer a curse."
The residents of Moon City did not hesitate anymore. They immediately got up and chose the mushrooms they had been longing for.
Klein glanced at them and added:
"Those pure white mushrooms are prone to cracking when cooked thoroughly, leaking liquid. You need to prepare some containers, or drink it down in time."

"Which pathway are you from?" Klein asked, looking as if casually inquiring while watching the Moon City residents grilling mushrooms over the monster bones.

"Has anything unusual happened near this grayish-white fog?"

"What kind of anomaly?"

Demon wolf? Klein didn't expect to hear such information. His pupils changed slightly as he pressed further:
"What did that demon wolf look like?"
Nim involuntarily took a breath and said:
"It was the same as the demon wolf described in ancient texts, but much larger. Even with all eight feet on the ground, it was as tall as two or three people combined. Its fur wasn't pure pitch black, giving a feeling of deep darkness. Its eyes were strange, mostly pupils, black pupils. Also, it had a tuft of grayish-white short hair on its head..."

Klein intentionally used 'it' instead of 'He' to avoid scaring the people of Moon City.
In his mind, the Unshadowed Demon Wolf Kotar could very easily eliminate an investigation team, and could even turn Moon City into His "Puppet Kingdom" without paying much of a price. Who knew that this mythological creature seemed to have spared Moon City. If Klein hadn't already checked the "Spirit Body Threads" of Nim, Ruth, and the others, confirming their state, he would surely have suspected that he was merely talking to puppets.
