Waiting for me in the Adventurer's Guild lobby was Ward.
I didn't have any particular idea what this was about, but last time he was the one who told me about the Vermilion family rigging the Martial Arts Festival in the royal capital, wasn't he?
So, using a teleportation spell, Ward and I relocated together to the ducal residence.
As always, it was a modest ducal residence (by noble standards).

Do people even exist who would take a request to capture a fellow guild member?
……Thinking about all those adventurers who've been getting in my face until now, yeah, they probably do exist.
