As they say, if you read a book you should vote, and if you drink you shouldn't pee. I'm shamelessly here to ask for votes again!

********* But the True Yang Technique was different. When it reached its limit, the True Yang Energy would transform into a liquid and sink into the Dantian, effectively clearing out the meridians so that one could continue cultivating. In other words, when practicing this technique, one would never hit a limit; as long as there was Yang Qi, one could cultivate endlessly.

This was the second difference, one that further highlighted the extraordinary nature of the True Yang Technique.

Once Yang Liquid was cultivated, it could be used for attacks in battle.

Yang Kai pondered for a moment and decided to practice the True Yang Technique.

First, he had no choice. Without Contribution Points, he naturally couldn't obtain martial skills from the sect. Second, he believed that anything produced by the Wordless Black Book couldn't be bad. The techniques in the sect weren't necessarily better than the True Yang Technique.

As for the cultivation environment, that wasn't actually a big worry. The sun was also Yang. As long as there was sunlight, he could practice the True Yang Technique. Of course, the efficiency would be very low.

After all, the sun shone upon the entire earth, illuminating the universe. How much could one person absorb?

Having made his decision, Yang Kai immediately walked outside, placed himself under the sun's rays, sat cross-legged on the ground, and closed his eyes. Focusing on the energy circulation path of the True Yang Technique in his mind, he struggled to control the single wisp of Yuan Qi in his Dantian, guiding it to circulate along the path of the True Yang Technique.

Everything is difficult at the start. This saying couldn't be more true. Although Yang Kai could communicate with that wisp of Yuan Qi, getting it to circulate was extremely difficult.

After cultivating under the scorching sun for an entire day, the Yuan Qi in his body had only increased by a tiny bit, and its flow speed was as slow as a turtle crawling. But since it was his first time cultivating, Yang Kai was already very satisfied with this result.

This was a gradual process, not something that could be accomplished overnight. Yang Kai never lacked patience.

After three days of hard work, Yang Kai finally managed to guide the Yuan Qi in his Dantian to his chest. With a thought, he controlled this not-so-strong wisp of Yuan Qi to shuttle through several vital acupoints near his chest.

He wanted to form a Yang Source Seal inside his body according to the information he obtained from the Wordless Black Book. This was the first step in practicing the True Yang Technique.

This Yang Source Seal had no other use; it was only meant to sense the existence of Yang Qi. After all, Yang Kai was still inexperienced, his strength was too weak, and he hadn't yet formed his own Divine Sense, so he couldn't investigate areas with dense Yang Qi over a large area.

But it was different with this Yang Source Seal. It was quite sensitive to Yang Qi. As long as Yang Qi existed within a certain range, the Yang Source Seal would react.

That wisp of Yuan Qi in his body shuttled back and forth in his chest. Yang Kai's expression was serious, not daring to be the slightest bit negligent. Condensing the Yang Source Seal was a very complex and tedious process. Any mistake in the middle could cause all his previous efforts to be wasted.

One hour passed, two hours passed. Yang Kai, who was sitting upright under the sun, was drenched in sweat. The prolonged sweating even caused some signs of dehydration in his body, his lips turning pale. However, Yang Kai's expression was resolute. He continuously drove that wisp of Yuan Qi to circulate in the vital acupoints around his chest, without any hint of irritation or discouragement.

Who knows how much more time passed, but Yang Kai suddenly felt a strange sensation in his chest, followed immediately by a sharp pain in the flesh there, as if it had been branded by a red-hot iron.

Yang Kai abruptly opened his eyes, gritting his teeth and enduring the pain.

This pain came and went quickly, disappearing in just the blink of an eye. His chest returned to normal, and it even felt a little cool, but the intense pain still echoed in his mind, striking fear into his heart.

Vaguely, Yang Kai felt that something extra had been added to his chest, but when he looked down, he couldn't see anything at all.
