Xiao Wu is a hundred-thousand-year-old Soft Boned Rabbit spirit beast who lives in the form of a lively young girl. She enrols at Nuoding Academy and then Shrek Academy alongside Tang San, concealing her true nature as a spirit beast from almost everyone.
Playful, bold and quick-tempered with strangers, she is unshakeably devoted to those she loves. She fights as an agility-type close-quarters specialist, and her bond with Tang San makes the two an inseparable pair at the core of the Shrek Seven Devils.
Her hidden origin and her love for Tang San form one of the emotional cores of the story, and she proves willing to give up everything to keep him safe. In the distant future she attains godhood as the Rabbit Goddess.
