Minitt

Deskripsi

Minitt is one of Wilk's personal maids, a commoner from the town by the castle who serves at Newnelly as day staff. She is about sixteen. She loves flowers and, after cleaning, always sets fragrant bouquets in her master's room — it is by this habit that Wilk remembers her. Not long ago the head maid used to scold her constantly and Minitt was often on the verge of tears, but by now her speech has already smoothed out.

Like many pretty commoner girls, she was taken into the castle in part for the sexual education of the young master. Wilk draws Minitt close, frees her of her earlier timidity, and in private forbids her to call him young master, making her address him by name. She becomes sincerely attached to him, moved that, unlike other nobles, he is attentive even to the lowest staff.
