Lorel is the first Count Everett and a former guard knight. About a hundred years ago he was sent as an envoy to Silva-Harna. Rumor wrongly branded him an abductor, but in truth he was a hero: he saved the priestess Silfaria, helped seal the power of the primordial spirit Amon, and thereby saved Silva-Harna.
He fell in love with Silfaria, and after her death carried their child to Alveria, founding House Everett on the western frontier.
Lorel left behind a green journal (midori no shuki) fitted with a trap-seal, which became a key clue in unraveling the secret of Feril and Amon.
