Paul is a Morning Star Warlock from the Spirit Circle, inheritor of the Spirit-Sucking Oddity bloodline. His appearance is distinctly aberrant, marked by an octopus-like head and tentacles, reflecting his race's psychic origins. Within the Morning Star Area he functions as a guide, informant, and battle participant, providing Leylin with critical insight into Morning Star systems, organizations, dangers, and political dynamics. His presence demonstrates the lingering but weakened influence of Spirit Circle following the disaster at the Scarlet Crescent Ruins.
