The Old Witch is a reclusive dark Magus renowned for her mastery over spirits, curses, and soul-related potions. Fierce, calculating, and utterly pragmatic, she commands respect and fear from dark Magi across the region. Despite her sinister reputation, she is also fiercely protective of her granddaughter Jaye, for whom she gathers rare soul-strengthening materials—eventually leading to her involvement with Leylin.
