Sung Jin-Woo

Sung Jin-Woo was originally classified as an E-rank Hunter — the weakest rank, universally mocked across South Korea. He barely scraped by hunting low-tier monsters in low-level Врата to pay for his mother's mounting medical bills while supporting his younger sister Сон Джина. His life changed irrevocably when a hidden Double Dungeon left him as the sole survivor of a massacre, and the Система chose him as its Player.

As the only Hunter capable of raising his stats through leveling, Jin-Woo completed relentless Daily Quests that pushed him beyond human limits. The Система granted him access to a unique class-change quest, culminating in his rebirth as the Shadow Monarch — inheritor of the power to raise the dead as Shadow Soldiers under his command.

Cold and methodical in battle, Jin-Woo built an ever-growing army of loyal Shadow Soldiers. His elite forces include Беру — the former Король Муравьёв from the Остров Чеджу raid — as well as Igrit, Iron, Tank, Tusk, Kaisel and Bellion. He can extract shadows from defeated enemies, teleport through shadows, and wield overwhelming physical power far surpassing any S-rank Hunter.

Jin-Woo's rise brought him into contact with Korea's most powerful figures — Ча Хэ Ин, the S-rank Hunter who sensed something different about him; Го Гон Хи, the chairman of the Корейская Ассоциация Охотников; and Ю Джин Хо, his loyal friend and vice-guild master. He founded his own guild, Аджин Софт, to protect his family and operate independently.

Inheriting the throne of Ashborn, the original Shadow Monarch, Jin-Woo took on the burden of facing the Monarchs — ancient beings threatening to destroy humanity. With his Shadow Army numbering in the tens of thousands, he waged a solo war against forces that entire nations' S-rank Hunters could not withstand.

In the final confrontation, Jin-Woo made the ultimate choice to rewrite humanity's fate, taking on the Monarchs in single-handed combat and reshaping the world to protect those he loved. His journey from the weakest Hunter to the Shadow Monarch became legend.
