Job Change Quest Dungeon

The Job Change Quest Dungeon is an instance dungeon generated by the System specifically for Sung Jin-Woo after he reached the required level for a class advancement. Taking the form of a grand medieval castle interior, it is filled with armored Magic Beasts and traps that evoke a dark fantasy setting.

Unlike ordinary Gates, this dungeon served as a unique trial intended to unlock Jin-Woo's potential as the Shadow Monarch. The quest tasked him with surviving within the dungeon for a set period and defeating its guardian, thereby granting him his first real glimpse into the necromantic powers he would later command.

Inside the castle-like halls, Jin-Woo fought through waves of knight-type and mage-type Magic Beasts, each stronger than any he had previously faced. The environment itself mirrored the grim atmosphere of an ancient fortress under siege, with tattered banners, flickering torches, and cold stone corridors.

The final challenge of the dungeon was the Blood-Red Commander Igris, a towering knight clad in crimson armor who wielded a massive greatsword. Igris demonstrated overwhelming speed and combat skill, pushing Jin-Woo to his limits and forcing him to rely on every ability and tactic he had learned through the System.

After a brutal duel, Jin-Woo defeated Igris and, guided by the System's prompt, used the Shadow Extraction skill for the first time. Igris rose again as a shadow soldier, becoming Jin-Woo's first true Shadow and a loyal general in what would later become the Shadow Army. This moment marked the birth of the Shadow Monarch's legion.

The dungeon thus stands as a pivotal milestone in Jin-Woo's journey: not only did he complete his class change from a simple hunter to the Shadow Monarch, but he also gained the foundation of his forces, with Igris becoming one of his most trusted and iconic shadows throughout the series.
