Sophia

Sophia Keren, formerly Negishi Shouko, is one of the reincarnated Japanese students. In her past life she was a bullied outcast mocked for her ugly appearance; reborn as a vampire, she is now a peerless silver-haired, red-eyed beauty. Her family, the Kerens of Sariella, were killed in religious conflict, after which she was taken in by Shiro and Ariel.

Dense yet immensely powerful, she relies on brute strength and craves the worthy battles she rarely gets. Her past humiliation left her obsessed with looks and intensely resentful of anyone using her old name. Her jealousy of Shiraori — whom she believes to be Wakaba Hiiro, the class beauty queen — earns her the title Ruler of Envy and the Envy skill.

A major antagonist during the prolepsis/time-skip, she later becomes one of the main characters, serving under Shiraori among the demons alongside her guardian Merazophis.
