Nie Li thought to himself: "Moreover, Law power can be cultivated right now — it's one tier above Soul Power and can dramatically enhance one's personal strength. As for the power of the Heavenly Dao, that can only be cultivated after forcibly breaking through the Legendary realm."
With this thought, a plan took shape in Nie Li's mind — first, convert all the Soul Power in his body into Law power!

"Goddess, why does your face look so dark?" Nie Li asked, widening his eyes as he looked at Yu Yan.
"It's nothing." Seeing Nie Li's innocent expression, Yu Yan took a deep breath and steadied herself. Even though she was a goddess who had lived for tens of thousands of years, she spent every day in ceaseless cultivation, communing with the Laws of heaven and earth — and so her heart was, in many ways, far simpler than that of most scheming, backstabbing people.
