Chapter 0780: The Uniqueness of Four-Star Scenarios

"The first floor has Teacher White, the second floor has the girl in red, and the third floor has a group of invisible monsters. What will the fourth floor have?"

stood alone in the hallway, not daring to breathe too hard. His pupils contracted to pinpoints, every muscle in his body tensed taut.

"Since I'm already here, I might as well take a look."

He took a step forward, and his silhouette was slowly swallowed by the darkness.

The only light on the dim corridor came from the elevator display screen. The blood-red digits looked like a smile carved open by a knife—a smile that could never heal, forever wearing an expression of pain.

"Creeak..."

After walking a few steps, Chen Ge discovered another room related to art—the model storage room.

The door wasn't fully closed to begin with, leaving a crack open, as if someone was lying in wait behind it, peeking through.

Chen Ge slowly pushed the wooden door open. The scene inside was somewhat bizarre.

There were no experimental apparatuses, only several pieces of white cloth standing "upright," giving the impression of people draped in white sheets standing around the room.

"What's this?"

Chen Ge decisively approached and reached out to lift the white cloth closest to him. He wanted to know what lay beneath, but he also feared that what was underneath might be extremely dangerous. So he could only take a gamble, hoping to strike first before the other could react.

The white cloth slid down, revealing a skinless human sculpture underneath.

"This material doesn't seem to be plaster or synthetic resin," Chen Ge said with a slight frown. Beneath the cloth was a human model without skin.

The muscles were tensed in a state of exertion, veins and arteries coiled and wove across the flesh, so lifelike that every detail was faithfully reproduced.

"The art students in this school don't seriously use this thing to practice drawing, do they?"

He stared at the model, and the model stared back at him. Those eyeballs, sunken deep amidst veins and bones, fixed intently on Chen Ge.

"The paint storage room held rows upon rows of paints that reeked of blood. The model storage room is filled with a bunch of skinless models. I don't even dare imagine what the final art activity room will contain."

He draped the white cloth back over it. Having learned his lesson from before, Chen Ge didn't linger in the same place for too long and directly left.

As he turned to close the door, his gaze swept the interior of the model storage room. A piece of white cloth had fallen to the ground, and whatever was inside was nowhere to be seen.

After leaving the model storage room, Chen Ge found the drawing paper storage room on the other side of the corridor. It was filled entirely with "canvas paper" that had been half-processed or already finished.

When he touched it, the surface of the processed "canvas paper" was smooth, though he couldn't tell what had been applied to it.

What heightened Chen Ge's alertness were the unprocessed and half-processed "canvas papers." The texture of these "papers" felt disturbingly similar to human skin.

He didn't stay long. Chen Ge wiped his hands on his work clothes, exited the room, and continued on.

"What exactly was this experimental building built to experiment on?"

Chen Ge kept walking and finally found the art activity room at the very end of the corridor.

"Just as I guessed."

Having successfully found the art activity room, Chen Ge had accomplished half of his goal in coming to the experimental building.
