His throat was clamped tight by the monster in the mirror, and the knife-wielding murderer stood just three or four meters behind him. There was no room for hesitation. The moment he saw 's dedicated page, reached out and typed two words — Save me!

The maniacal laughter in his mind grew louder and louder. Before Chen Ge could type anything else, Zhang Peng's knife was already thrusting toward him.

He twisted sideways, grabbed the clutter from the cabinet, and flung it at Zhang Peng.

His arm was gradually losing strength. His neck had already begun to deform slightly. Give it a little longer, and even without Zhang Peng making another move, the mirror monster would strangle him to death.

His bulging veins stood out as his hand groped at his neck, but he couldn't touch a thing. Chen Ge pinned his last hope on the black phone.

He turned his head to glance at the phone screen on the floor. On the blood-red dedicated page, a line of text had appeared: "She has received your wish. Please confirm the content of the first contract."

At this point, even if Zhang Ya demanded something outrageous of him, he would agree without a moment's hesitation.

His finger moved, and Chen Ge struggled to tap the confirm button on the screen.

The instant his fingertip touched the glass, the temperature inside the sealed repair room plummeted. Cold wind howled in from every direction.

The maniacal laughter in Chen Ge's mind cut off abruptly. The monster behind him was trembling — even it knew fear.

Drip. Drip. The sound of blood falling echoed from somewhere unseen. The mirror monster that had been pressing against Chen Ge's back suddenly released its grip and darted back into Zhang Peng's body.

The repair room fell silent. Zhang Peng, still clutching the knife, sensed that something was wrong. The desperate gambler realized what was happening. At this critical moment, instead of retreating, he pointed the blade upward and charged at Chen Ge.

But after taking only a single step, the expression on his face changed. The mirror monster had forcibly seized control of his body and was driving him away.

Man and ghost turned on each other. While they struggled, Chen Ge's shadow slowly rose to its feet and leaned against his back — a figure in blood-red robes.

Perhaps the Xicheng Private Academy had left too deep a psychological scar on both of them. The instant Zhang Peng and the mirror monster saw the vengeful ghost in red behind Chen Ge, they reached an instantaneous consensus. Without a shred of hesitation, they turned and ran.

Freed from the mirror monster's restraint, Chen Ge was released at last. Having just teetered on the edge between life and death, his frustration had built to a boiling point. There was no way he was letting Zhang Peng escape.

He grabbed the Skull Crusher hammer and started to stand — but the vengeful ghost in red was faster than he was. Zhang Ya seemed to have a particular fondness for slaughter. Without waiting for any command from Chen Ge, strand after strand of black hair lashed into Zhang Peng's body.

The killer's steps slowed. How could Chen Ge pass up such a perfect opportunity? He swung the hammer and smashed it down onto Zhang Peng's shoulder.

The tremendous impact sent Zhang Peng stumbling forward. Chen Ge pressed the advantage and brought the hammer down again, this time aimed at Zhang Peng's thigh.

A scream tore through the repair room. The mirror monster hiding inside Zhang Peng's body knew all was lost. It abandoned him decisively and bolted toward the bathroom.

"The only mirrors on the first floor are in the bathroom — no!"

Before Chen Ge could even finish, Zhang Ya had already dropped Zhang Peng and was in hot pursuit of the mirror monster. That ugly creature had successfully caught her interest.
