The Wings of the Sun was a top-tier Meditation Method specifically designed to complement the Son of the Sun bloodline. It was extremely abstruse and obscure—even the Chip hadn't been able to fully analyse it before.
But now, having obtained the true Son of the Sun bloodline and formed a genetic sequence, the two could be used in tandem for deduction. Many problems that had plagued Leylin for so long were suddenly resolved with ease.
Combined with the two most complete Meditation Methods he had obtained previously—the Dragon King's Divine Power and the Ethereal Phantom Body—a massive and intricate database was instantly formed.
The deduction progress for the fifth layer of the Eye of Komoin began to climb rapidly.
Seeing that his primary objective had been achieved, Leylin couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
"A peak sixth-level existence—the Son of the Sun!"
Leylin gazed at the blood that resembled a miniature sun, and his brows furrowed once more. With this substance in existence, combined with the Wings of the Sun, it would be possible to create a terrifying bloodline warlock family almost immediately!
A warlock whose bloodline origin reached the sixth level—there probably wasn't a single one in the entire Central Continent right now.
"If any other warlocks, or even Wizards, were to find out about this, I'd be in serious trouble..." A bitter smile appeared at the corner of Leylin's lips.
More than just trouble—if word got out, the scheming warlocks would be the lesser concern. Even the Morning Star Thrones of several Wizards would likely be stirred into action.
After all, they had no desire to see a Throne representing bloodline warlocks rise and disrupt the balance of power.
"What a pity... If my own bloodline hadn't already been set in stone, I would have used the Son of the Sun bloodline long ago..."
Leylin let out a long exhale, his eyes immediately clearing with renewed clarity. "Designate this place as a highest-level forbidden zone! Security clearance X—anyone who enters besides me is to be killed on sight! No exceptions!"
His voice was cold as ice, carrying the chill of ten thousand years, with wisps of frigid air seeming to seep from between his words.
"Understood!" The Formation Spirit's equally emotionless voice rang out. Perhaps only a being devoid of human intellect and feeling could remain ignorant of just how terrifying Leylin truly was.
"One more thing!" Leylin glanced at the empty surroundings, his finger rubbing against a crystal ring.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Five semi-transparent phantoms immediately materialised around him, as if squeezed out of the void itself, without generating the slightest ripple. Blood-red eyes fixed on Leylin as they dropped to one knee.
"Guard this place! Anyone who dares trespass—kill them instantly!"
Through the ring on his hand, Leylin transmitted a wave of spiritual fluctuation.
"..." The five phantoms nodded, then vanished into the air, their concealment so seamless that even the Chip had nearly failed to detect them.
"These Void Assassins really are useful. A pity there are only eight left..." Leylin watched the assassins disappear with an appreciative gaze, stroking his chin.
These eight Void Assassins were, naturally, his haul from the Scarlet Crescent Moon ruins. They had originally been trump cards and killing weapons left by that old man's ancestors for their descendants, but Leylin had seized every last one of them.
He had examined them thoroughly—each Void Assassin possessed strength at or above the Crystallisation level, and their void-traversal technology was incomparably stealthy, making them nearly impossible to guard against.
Five of them attacking at once would likely pose a serious threat even to a Morning Star Wizard caught off guard.
With these defenses in place, he could finally set his mind at ease—albeit barely.
"Leaving them here indefinitely isn't an option. I need to put them to use as soon as possible, or store them inside the wizard tower once it's been built!"
Leylin mulled it over. Using the Son of the Sun's bloodline for combustion experiments would be far too wasteful. He still had other plans that required this blood to bring to fruition—an ancient sixth-level creature's bloodline was already a priceless treasure that money couldn't buy.
"Next, I'll focus on quietly building my strength while pushing forward the advancement of my soul power. Ideally, I can have the Chip fully digitize all my soul data—that would make things much more convenient…"
Leylin unconsciously glanced at his status window.
"[Leylin Farell, Warlock Level Four, Bloodline: Komohin Giant Snake (Complete Form), Strength: 50, Agility: 45, Constitution: 65, Spirit: 506.9, Mana: 506 (Mana is synchronously determined by Spiritual Power), Soul Power: ???]"
After breaking through to the Morning Star realm, progress had been primarily at the soul level. His Spiritual Power and bodily statistics had barely changed.
Thinking of this, Leylin pulled up the Chip's soul power analysis progress and saw it was still languishing in the same deadlocked state. He couldn't help but roll his eyes.
"Full digitization of soul power… that's probably not something that'll happen in a day or two…"
A flicker of understanding slowly rose in the depths of Leylin's heart.
……
In the blink of an eye, five years slipped by, and the Ouroboros Ring had thoroughly stabilized.
The allied forces still held some of their original territories, but large-scale warfare had finally ceased. Judging from the fact that all major factions were quietly withdrawing their troops, the overall trajectory was clearly one of positive development.
