"We can trade in Morning Star Space!"
Leilin thought for a moment, nodded, and ended the call.
The so-called Morning Star Space was actually the Morning Star Warlock trading channel that Hebrew had given Leilin access to before—a small pocket dimension conveniently connected through the Astral Gate.
It was a trading outpost and base of operations for the Morning Star Warlocks, built by several Radiant Moon Warlocks working together, and Leilin was quite interested.
Although his wizard tower and Astral Gate were still under construction, he could still give it a try through other Astral Gates.
With these thoughts, Leilin made his way directly to the massive hive-shaped building of the Technical Division.
There was still an Astral Gate here that he could use for a trial run.
"Your Grace!" Shate bowed to Leilin, accompanied by a group of researchers in white coats—similar to the researchers of later ages.
"Mm. I need to use the Astral Gate here. You may all leave." Leilin waved his hand dismissively, sending Shate and the others away.
With his current status, Shate didn't dare say another word. He immediately led his subordinates out, leaving the spacious laboratory entirely to Leilin.
"The Astral Gate!" Leilin gazed at the massive stone gate at the center, situated within the magical array.
Surrounding the stone gate was a large cluster of blue flames, forming a great sphere of light that enveloped everything around it. If Leilin weren't at the Morning Star rank, he might not have been able to perceive the true form of the gate, forged from actual Astral Stone.
The stone gate looked ancient and imposing, with spatial runes constantly drifting and flowing across its surface, emanating a unique luminescence.
"The Astral Plane... just how vast and boundless must it be? I wonder if I'll ever have the chance to explore its furthest reaches in this lifetime..."
Leilin sighed, a vague premonition stirring within him. Perhaps... when he fully comprehended the mysteries of the Astral Plane, that would also be the moment he achieved his goal and obtained immortality!
"Ding! The Astral Gate has been activated. Please confirm the coordinates!" the Chip's mechanical voice announced.
The massive stone gate amidst the blue starlight rumbled, and what seemed like a huge black vortex split open at its center, revealing infinite silver spatial light and the vast, mysterious aura of the Astral Plane.
"Go!" Leilin made a quick gesture, and a tiny point of light resembling a star landed upon the Astral Gate.
This was the Morning Star Space coordinate that Paul had given him last time. After the Chip had recorded it, he could now generate this coordinate point of light at any time using his soul power.
The coordinates of planes and foreign worlds were, of course, vastly different from the two-dimensional planar coordinates of Leilin's previous life—they didn't even belong to the realm of three dimensions, but were instead a continuously warping and leaping arc. It seemed as though they used some specific point within the Astral Plane as a reference, forming a particular frequency.
Even the Chip's tremendous computational power couldn't fully simulate this calculation process—it could only use it skillfully without truly understanding it.
However, the moment this star-like point of light landed upon the stone gate, astonishing changes immediately occurred.
Hum! Hum! The Astral Gate trembled, and the multitude of drifting runes erupted with brilliant radiance. The two stone doors swung open with a thunderous roar, revealing a spatial corridor that looked like a river of stars.
"Just as expected! The energy consumption is extremely small! Just from the Astral Stone reserves alone, it could sustain this for at least three days!"
Leilin didn't rush in immediately. Instead, he observed the data recorded by the Chip and nodded in approval.
The Astral Gate's operation actually still had to follow the most fundamental physical laws—the farther the destination world, the greater the energy consumption. Since Morning Star Space was located at the very edge of the Wizard World, the consumption was naturally minimal—practically negligible. This made it extremely convenient for transporting personnel and resources.
"Hm? Wait—this Morning Star Space is clearly a base of operations and a strategic mobilization hub for high-level Warlocks!"
Leilin suddenly started, the realization striking him like a bolt of lightning.
With Morning Star Space serving as a central relay point, any faction possessing both a Morning Star Warlock and an Astral Gate could, upon encountering danger, call upon Morning Star Space through their Astral Gate to receive massive reinforcements—even directly summoning Warlocks from the Grand Alliance to cross over and aid them!
In essence, a single Morning Star Space, combined with the Astral Gate network, formed an enormous teleportation array network connecting all of the Bloodline Warlock organizations!
"What an impressive design! With such convenient reinforcement capabilities and mobility, it's no wonder that even though the Bloodline Warlock organizations are spread across the entire Central Continent, their connections remain so tight—they face no real risk of being divided and defeated one by one..."
The more Leilin thought about it, the clearer things became, and he couldn't help but feel immense admiration for the several Radiant Moon Warlocks who had originally conceived and executed this plan.
Of course, the barrier to entry for this teleportation network was quite high. It required at least one Warlock of Morning Star rank or above, plus the construction of an Astral Gate.
Last time, the Ouroboros Ring had been under attack—if any single Grand Duke had been present, they could have used the Astral Gate to call for help from Morning Star Space. The invaders would have been annihilated, and there would have been no need for Leilin to go in alone and fight desperately.
Thinking of this, Leilin couldn't help but feel somewhat exasperated.
If only he had obtained the Morning Star Space coordinates earlier, he wouldn't have had to fight so hard last time—or resort to a desperate gamble on luck at the end.
