Everyone stared straight at Li Xingyun. "Has the sect master run into trouble? If he's summoned us, we'll follow him to the death without hesitation!"

Li Xingyun quickly waved his hands. "The sect master hasn't run into any trouble. You're not being sent to protect him this time."

The disciples exchanged confused glances, wondering what it could be about then.

"This time, you are being sent on an important mission — to protect the Heavenly Sound God Sect," Li Xingyun said with a slight smile.

"Protect the Heavenly Sound God Sect? Why would they need us to protect them?" several disciples asked, puzzled.

"A while back, the Demon God Sect launched a sudden attack on the Heavenly Sound God Sect, dealing them serious damage. The Demon God Sect's forces were eventually driven off by our sect master. The Heavenly Sound God Sect is, after all, one of the six great righteous god sects. We have a duty to ensure they're not ravaged by the demonic factions," Li Xingyun explained.

"We understand, Vice Sect Master. Rest assured, we will absolutely complete the mission!"
