Once the Golden Egg arrived inside the Ten Thousand Miles Landscape Scroll, the dense power of the Heavenly Dao immediately roused it. It grew extremely excited, opening its mouth and devouring wildly, instantly swelling into a massive sphere. Its body expanded to roughly twice its original size, and its face shrank so much it was nearly invisible.
The little thing had become so round and plump that it could barely walk. It dropped onto a stretch of flat ground between the mountains, and it would probably take quite some time before it finished digesting the Heavenly Dao power within it.
This little guy's capacity to absorb the power of the Heavenly Dao was astonishingly powerful. Nie Li had originally been a bit worried that this terrifying glutton would devour all the Heavenly Dao power inside the Ten Thousand Miles Landscape Scroll. Yet upon observation, the Golden Egg had absorbed only a minuscule fraction of the total power. The Scroll continued to generate Heavenly Dao power in an endless stream.
At this point, although the Golden Egg still resembled a tiny creature, Nie Li estimated that its strength was already no less than that of a three-lifes cultivator. Moreover, its physical body was virtually indestructible — at the current stage, even a Martial Ancestor would find it extremely difficult to kill.

Nie Li gazed out over the vast expanse of the Ten Thousand Miles Landscape Scroll. This sprawling domain was essentially his own territory — there would be plenty he could accomplish here in the future.
Various thoughts flashed through his mind, and Nie Li smiled faintly. He had already formulated a plan.
Exiting the Ten Thousand Miles Landscape Scroll, Nie Li stepped out of the room.
"It's done. It has merged with my Soul Sea," Nie Li nodded and replied.
Xiao Ning'er was somewhat surprised — she hadn't expected Nie Li to actually be able to break the seal on the Ten Thousand Miles Landscape Scroll. Her admiration for him deepened even further. That was something even the higher-ups of the Divine Sect hadn't been able to accomplish. All along, whether in the Tiny World or here in the Dragon Abyss World, Nie Li had always led them like a guiding figure, filling her heart with reverence.
For the entire day, Nie Li stayed with Xiao Ning'er, turning down every social invitation. Xiao Ning'er treasured this time together all the more for it.

"I understand. Leave it to me — you can rest easy! Here are some ordinary growth-type Dragon Blood Demon Spirits that were recently acquired." Gu Bei handed a Space Ring to Nie Li, then busied himself with other matters.
After obtaining more ordinary growth-type Dragon Blood Demon Spirits from Gu Bei, Nie Li found a secluded spot and fused one more god-tier growth-type Dragon Blood Demon Spirit inside the Ten Thousand Miles Landscape Scroll.

"Xiao Yu, where have you been the past two days? I haven't seen you anywhere." Nie Li suddenly sensed that something was off about Xiao Yu's aura and furrowed his brow slightly. "That's not right — you'd already advanced to the Fourth Life, but you've regressed back to the Third Life? Did you go to the Great World?"
"Mm." Xiao Yu replied with a bitter smile. He had originally wanted to hide it, but Nie Li had seen through him anyway.
