When the crowd saw Jiang Chen open his eyes, their faces were filled with anticipation. The Eternal Sacred Ancestor was the first to step forward, asking, "How is it?"
Jiang Chen gave a slight nod. "I have some leads. This is a formation called the Taibai Splitting Light Convergence Formation. Its greatest characteristic is the ability to channel the power of other areas and instantly deliver it to a single point. That is why, no matter how we attack, this light barrier is nearly impossible to break. Our speed of attack will never exceed the formation's defensive response speed."
Upon hearing this, the Eternal Sacred Ancestor said, "Isn't that simple enough? We just split up and attack from two different areas, and we'll break through, won't we?"
"Are you suggesting a feint in the east while striking in the west?"
"Precisely." The Eternal Sacred Ancestor nodded. "If it's borrowing spiritual energy from other areas, all we need to do is attack from two locations, and we should be able to break through part of it."

As the memories of the Taibai Splitting Light Convergence Formation continued to surface in Jiang Chen's mind, the finer details of the formation grew increasingly clear to him.
The Eternal Sacred Ancestor considered this and had to agree — if the formation could be broken that easily, its flaw would be far too great. A formation with such a gaping vulnerability could never be deployed in a situation like this.

"Then naturally I must be included too." Patriarch Xuri walked out with a genial smile.
The Eternal Sacred Ancestor nodded with a smile. "Add myself to the group — will the four of us be enough?"
Jiang Chen chuckled. "More than enough. Definitely enough!"
The Eternal Sacred Ancestor nodded and cupped his fists toward the remaining Divine Dao patriarchs. "Fellow Daoists, in the current situation, we must support one another and look out for each other. The four of us will accompany Jiang Chen to find the formation's nodes. We are counting on the rest of you to hold things together here and keep watch over the area."
