Chapter 471. Moon Pavilion — Aunt (Part 2)

Tang San raised his hand and placed it atop the two blue-robed men's hands.

His current strength had undergone a qualitative leap. From their Soul Power fluctuations, he immediately determined that both blue-robed men were Soul Ancestors at the fortieth rank or above.

Given his current strength, facing opponents of this caliber, how could he possibly give them any chance?

Apart from Tang Hao, no one caught what Tang San did. All they perceived was an illusory white shadow flashing past, and then both blue-robed men were sent flying backward simultaneously. The arms they had extended now hung limply at their sides.

Tang San looked at the two with cold eyes. "Stick out one claw, and I'll remove one. Stick out another, and I'll remove that too. We've come to see the master, not to deal with guard dogs."

Perhaps because of the action he'd taken, a fierce killing intent erupted from his body — icy, bloodthirsty, sinister. A cascade of negative emotions swept across the first floor of Moon Pavilion in an instant.

The several female attendants behind the counter exchanged pale glances, their bodies trembling as they retreated. Had it not been for Tang Hao's presence, the two blue-robed men would already be dead.

Watching the killing intent radiating from his son, Tang Hao's brow furrowed deeply. He knew that the influence of the Slaughter City on Tang San was far from having dissipated.

Tang Hao knew far more than Tang San imagined. Though he said nothing on the surface, in truth, his son was now the only spiritual anchor keeping him in this world.

Over two years of training in the Slaughter City, Tang Hao had been secretly observing Tang San the entire time. Even the Slaughter King had not noticed that this Slaughter God had already slipped quietly into the Slaughter City.

Tang Hao even knew that Tang San had ultimately walked out of the Hell Road alongside Hu Liena. Seeing his son choose to bring Hu Liena out of the Hell Road in the end, Tang Hao felt gratified. A powerful enemy was not frightening — what was frightening was the corruption of one's own heart.

Though he knew that what Tang San was displaying now was perfectly normal, he still harbored some worry, and it further cemented his resolve to train his son according to the original plan.

The purple-robed middle-aged man froze for a moment, then his figure flickered as he descended from the staircase. He pressed one hand on each of his two subordinates' shoulders, and his expression changed drastically. He stared at Tang San and said in a low voice, "What a vicious method." The arm bones of the two blue-robed men had fractured inch by inch, clearly beyond recovery. Even if they could be healed, they would never again be able to exert force as before.

Tang San gave a cold laugh. "I was already showing mercy to those who look down on others."

The purple-robed man realized he had misjudged the situation earlier. He hadn't expected this young man to be so powerful. Although his two subordinates had not released their Martial Souls, the fact that Tang San had crippled an arm of each of them in a single exchange using only their Soul Power spoke volumes about this young man's terrifying strength. How old was he? The purple-robed man could hardly fathom it.

A faint halo of light rippled outward as a massive Soul Power was released in an instant. Six Soul Rings surfaced silently around the purple-robed man, revealing his identity as a Soul Emperor.

Yellow, yellow, purple, purple, black, black — the six Soul Rings pulsed in orderly rhythm. The Soul Power emanating from him felt somewhat familiar to Tang San. This person's Soul Ring configuration was quite impressive. He appeared to be only around fifty years old, and possessing six-ring strength at that age made him a formidable powerhouse indeed.

With a cold smile, Tang San took another step forward and simultaneously released his own Martial Soul. Under the stunned gaze of everyone present, yellow, yellow, purple, black, black — five Soul Rings appeared silently. Tang San's entire aura surged outward without reservation. The overwhelming killing intent seemed to make the entire Moon Pavilion tremble.

"Th-this is impossible." The purple-robed man himself possessed the optimal Soul Ring configuration, and seeing the five Soul Rings appear on Tang San, he could scarcely believe his own eyes.

Setting aside how young this young man was and the fact that he already had five Soul Rings, the simple fact that his fourth Soul Ring onward was at the ten-thousand-year level was enough to fill him with utter shock.

What astonished him even more came next. A special pressure radiated from Tang San's body, and the purple-robed man felt as though his entire Soul Power was being suppressed by this peculiar aura. Even his six Soul Rings began to dim. Though he could still gather his Soul Power, he could barely muster more than seventy percent of it. His strength had been dramatically reduced.

Almost instinctively, the purple-raised his right hand, and a luminous purple vine slithered from his palm, instantly forming a purple barrier around himself.

Seeing the other man's Soul Rings dim, Tang San was briefly surprised, but when he laid eyes on the purple vine, a faint smile curled at the corner of his mouth. He thought to himself: So that's how it is.

The purple-robed man's Martial Soul was the Ghost King Vine, a plant-type Soul Beast — an evolved version of the Ghost Vine from which Tang San had obtained his second Soul Ring. The reason he was being suppressed by the aura from Tang San's body was simple: it was because of Tang San's Martial Soul.

The Blue Silver Grass had evolved into the Blue Silver Emperor. As the sovereign ruler of the plant kingdom, the Blue Silver Emperor exerted a powerful suppressive effect on any plant-type Martial Soul. Its mere aura alone was enough to make the opponent's Ghost King Vine tremble.
