The Shrek Academy group naturally had no idea what this guy meant, but he repeated the same thing every day—how could that not arouse suspicion?

In truth, Feng Xiaotian's intentions were quite simple. They hadn't faced Shrek Academy during the preliminaries, so he was probably the person least willing to see Shrek Academy lose. Only if both teams made it to the finals would there be an opportunity to clash. This was a rare chance for him to pursue Huo Wu! As long as there was still hope, he wouldn't give up.

Over these past few days, Feng Xiaotian had gotten fairly familiar with the Shrek Academy crowd. "Little Wu, don't be like that. Your big brother came to cheer you guys on, you know!"

Xiao Wu let out an annoyed hmph. "Who's your sister? Stop trying to get cozy."

Tang San patted Xiao Wu's shoulder and stepped forward to face Feng Xiaotian with a smile. "We'll do our best. If Senior Feng hopes we'll meet in the finals, then make sure you don't lose in the upcoming matches either. That way, we'll definitely run into each other."

Although the smile still filled Feng Xiaotian's face, a sharp glint flashed through the depths of his eyes—captured perfectly by Tang San's exceptional vision.

"So you're saying Shrek Academy's goal is the championship?"

Tang San countered, "Isn't Divine Wind Academy's goal the same?"

To everyone's surprise, Feng Xiaotian actually shook his head. "Of course not. We've never counted on winning the championship. Who could possibly beat those freaks from Spirit Hall?"

Dai Mubai's interest was piqued. They had no information whatsoever about Spirit Hall's participants, and he couldn't help asking, "Are the members representing Spirit Hall really that strong?"

Feng Xiaotian chuckled. "I can't say for certain. All I know is that if we want to advance, we'd better pray we don't run into them. The match is about to start—I've got to go."

Watching Feng Xiaotian's retreating figure, a peculiar light shone in Dai Mubai's evil eyes. "This Feng Xiaotian definitely knows something. But he won't say."

Tang San murmured thoughtfully, "Divine Wind Academy is already incredibly strong. In this tournament, aside from not facing us, they also defeated the top-ranked Lightning Academy. If not for their loss to the fourth-ranked Blazing Fire Academy, Divine Wind Academy's record would be flawless. That doesn't necessarily prove they're the strongest of all the participating teams, but they're certainly harder to deal with than Blazing Fire Academy or Elephant Armament Academy. For a team like theirs to have absolutely no belief in beating that Spirit Hall squad… it seems the opponents we'll face in the finals are going to be formidable."

The two exchanged a glance, their expressions growing more solemn.

Against opponents their own age, the Shrek Seven Devils could stand against anyone's challenge without fear. But the age limit for this Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament was twenty-five.

Geniuses were rare, but they were never nonexistent. What was Spirit Hall? It was the holy land of all Soul Masters. Those chosen to represent the entire organization—how could their strength be lacking?

While the Shrek Academy group contemplated just how powerful their future opponents might be, not far away a group of young women was watching them just as intently.

"Big sis, look—Dai Mubai from Shrek Academy is so cool! I heard his nickname is the Evil-Eyed White Tiger, and he has double pupils." The speaker was a girl with an oval face. She looked to be in her early twenties, petite in build, with a short crop of ink-green hair that gave her a spirited look.

All the girls wore blue team uniforms—they were Shrek Academy's upcoming opponents: the Water Spirit Academy.

Each of the five great elemental academies had its own special admission requirements. Elephant Armament Academy's standard, first and foremost, was that a candidate had to weigh over three hundred pounds. Martial Soul requirements came second.

The other four elemental academies focused mainly on the characteristics of one's Martial Soul. Blazing Fire Academy, for example, required applicants to possess a fire-attribute Martial Soul, while Water Spirit Academy naturally required water-attribute ones.

Among the five great elemental academies, Water Spirit Academy had the most stringent admission criteria. Beyond the water-attribute Martial Soul, they had several additional requirements.

First, they accepted only female students. Second, they accepted only the beautiful.

But they also had their humane side. Of the five great elemental academies, Water Spirit Academy was the only one open to commoners—a trait they shared with Shrek Academy.

As a result, every member of Water Spirit Academy's team competing in this tournament was not only female, but every last one of them was a beauty.
