At regular intervals, the Great Demon Knetel could sense the ring's location.

"A legendary quest!" Shi Feng couldn't help but smile bitterly. "No wonder the penalty from Punishment Heaven was so severe."
Just an epic quest's penalty was enough to cripple a player. A legendary quest naturally went without saying — it would mean total annihilation, forcing nothing less than a fresh start.
"But I've never heard of this legendary quest before. The quest clues are so sparse — it says remove the seal, but doesn't explain how. The ring itself offers no hints either. No wonder Punishment Heaven failed." Shi Feng understood all too well how terrifying legendary quests could be.
Just a single epic quest was enough to give anyone a headache, let alone a legendary quest.
But the Divine Realm was also fair. If one could complete a legendary quest, the rewards would be truly staggering. Most Divine Realm players who obtained legendary items had done so by completing legendary quests, yet the vast majority of players perished on the path of legendary quests. That was one of the reasons why legendary items were so rare.
If possible, Shi Feng really didn't want to take on a legendary quest right now.
"After all that effort, it still doesn't help with the Dark Descent quest at all." Shi Feng sighed. As long as he had this ring, it meant he would be relentlessly hunted by a Great Demon — and the timing of that hunt was unpredictable, making it far more dangerous than an epic quest's time limit.
Shi Feng then placed the Ring of Moloch into his inventory. For now, completing the Dark Descent quest was the top priority.
Just as Shi Feng was about to turn and leave, the system issued another notification.
