"All my effort to kill that grand leader wasn't in vain."
Shi Feng put away the Magic Teleportation Array Design, sighing with emotion.
That single design alone was worth all the trouble; the trip to the Dark Cavern was not wasted.
Epic-tier equipment could boost a player's combat power, but a Magic Teleportation Array Design could elevate an entire guild.
As player levels grew higher, the maps required for leveling up grew increasingly distant.
Currently, players heading to level 30 maps could still use the city's teleportation arrays to save a lot of travel time. However, for leveling areas above level 35, there were almost no direct teleportation arrays. They had to run across an entire map region.
Even without rest and encountering no monsters, it would take a player of the current level at least three hours to cross a zone. Moreover, the more resource-rich the high-level map, the longer the travel time.
Thus, after reaching level 35, it was normal for players to go two or three days without returning to the city. They only returned when consumables were depleted or equipment urgently needed repair, often living in the wilderness for four or five days.
With a Magic Teleportation Array, guild members could make round trips in a single day. This saved enormous travel time and removed the anxiety of night travel, instantly widening the gap between guild members.
Shi Feng then picked up the last dropped item.
It was a dark gold whistle, engraved with many intricate magical runes.
"A mount!" Shi Feng was stunned again upon seeing the whistle.
Mounts were the primary means of travel in the Divine Realm. After all, the Divine Realm was vast. Traveling on foot was cumbersome and consumed a player's stamina. Hence, mounts came into existence.
Shi Feng had seen mounts before. In his previous life, he had been the leader of a second-rate guild. He had owned many.
However, this mount was slightly different. It wasn't an ordinary mount, but a dark gold-tier mount.
In the Divine Realm, mounts were classified into many types, similar to equipment: Ordinary, Bronze, Iron (Xuantie), Mythril (Miyin), Gold (Jingjin), Dark Gold (Anjin), Epic, and even Legendary.
Mounts of different qualities possessed varying abilities. Ordinary mounts were for basic travel, increasing movement speed by 100%. A two-hour journey could be completed in one, saving significant time. Any player whose level was sufficient could buy them in the city; they were very common.
Bronze-tier mounts were rarer. They not only provided transport but also had a certain attack capability. Their speed boost was 120%. These mounts couldn't be bought in the city; they could only be obtained through rare high-level quests, large team dungeons, or by achieving a certain reputation with specific factions. Ordinary players rarely acquired them.
Iron-tier mounts had significantly enhanced attack capabilities and a spatial storage ability, equivalent to a mobile backpack for the player. Their speed boost was 150%. These mounts were only awarded by ultra-rare quests and could also drop from large team dungeons.
Mythril-tier mounts were very rare. They were not only powerful attackers but also possessed special skills to aid the player. They could store many items and offered a speed boost of 180%. Their rarity was even higher than several dark gold items.
Gold-tier mounts were exceptionally rare. Even the leader of a large guild might not be able to obtain one. Their strength was comparable to a special elite monster of the same level, with a speed boost of 220%. Their rarity was comparable to two or three epic items.
Dark gold-tier mounts were even more formidable. They were equivalent to a leader-level monster of the same level, and with their special skills, they were even stronger than such a monster. Their speed boost was a staggering 280%, as fast as the wind.
