"An unstorable item?" Shi Feng's eyebrows shot up. Surprised as he was, he still chose to force them into his Epic-grade bag space.
If he didn't hurry up and get these items into his bag, the mana-repelling effect spreading across a fifty-yard radius alone would be enough to kill him.
As one item after another was absorbed into the Epic-grade bag space, the mana throughout the cavern gradually began to recover. Shi Feng let out a deep sigh of relief.
"That was close. These items are way too bizarre. If I had been even a few seconds slower, all of my mana would have been repelled clean." He sat down, gazing warily at the fifteen drop items now sitting in his bag space.
Fighting the Heretic Guardian Golem had already been absurd—it could freeze the mana in an area, preventing players from drawing on any external mana whatsoever, forcing them to rely entirely on their own reserves to cast spells. For players whose strength depended on magical skills, that was practically a death sentence.
But these dropped items were even more outrageous. They directly expelled all mana within a fifty-yard radius, and they didn't even spare the mana stored inside his own body. Such a thing was utterly unheard of.
If a player incapable of force-storing unstorable items encountered these, they would be dead for certain.
Shocked as he was, Shi Feng couldn't resist inspecting the items.
When he used his Observation skill to examine them, he froze completely.
All fifteen metal fragments were impossible to appraise. Even the Eye of Omniscience was useless. The only information it could display was "unknown metal"—fragments that had originally been part of a single weapon before it shattered…
"Holy crap! What kind of weapon was this? Just the fragments alone have this kind of power. Even a Legendary weapon probably wouldn't be this incredible." Shi Feng stared at the information retrieved by the Eye of Omniscience, his eyes wide with disbelief.
The fragments of Legendary items he had seen in the Divine Realm were typically just damaged at their core, unable to unleash their original power. But a weapon that had shattered into countless pieces—that wasn't a fragment anymore. That was scrap.
Yet these fragments still possessed such a terrifying mana-repelling effect. Even the Legendary weapons he knew of probably couldn't match that.
As for the unidentified metal fragments, Shi Feng didn't dwell on it for too long. He simply stored them in his bag space, ate and rested for a while, then resumed hammering away at the abyssal cavern wall.
Now that he knew the Heretic Guardian Golem could yield Legacy Power—and that the Golem itself was something produced by striking the cavern wall—he naturally wouldn't pass up this opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.
