Inside the Divine Realm, mobile fortresses and ordinary fortresses might look similar on the surface — the difference seemingly being that one could move while the other was stationary. But the two were fundamentally not the same thing, or rather, they were completely different types of structures. The distinction went far beyond simply moving or staying put.
An ordinary fortress was primarily built from materials, with magical formations serving a supplementary role. A mobile fortress, however, was the opposite — magical formations were the core, and materials were secondary. It could almost be called a magitech fortress. The complexity gap between the two was on an entirely different level.
The magical formations alone required to construct the fortress numbered in the several thousands, and each one was at minimum a Master-tier formation. One could only imagine how complex building a mobile fortress truly was.
If it were a more advanced medium-sized mobile fortress, it would likely require tens of thousands of formations. That number alone was terrifying to even think about.
Yet as Shi Feng examined the blueprints for a small mobile fortress now displayed in his mind, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Even though its size couldn't match that of a basic small town, the scarcity of flying mounts and the inability of most guild cities to establish a foothold in Level 100+ neutral maps meant that the value of a mobile fortress surpassed even two or three main-city-tier guild towns.
In his previous life, every force that possessed a mobile fortress was a target of fawning and recruitment by the great superpowers. Countless top-tier independent experts and elite adventurer parties would work themselves to the bone just to gain the right to enter and exit a mobile fortress. Such an asset could catapult an ordinary first-rate guild into a quasi-superpower — and one that even the major superpowers would think twice about provoking.
Now, although he hadn't obtained a mobile fortress itself, he had acquired the blueprints to build one. With his mastery of Master-tier magical formations, he could indeed construct a mobile fortress, instantly securing Zero Wing's standing in the Divine Realm. It was absolutely something to be overjoyed about.
But there was also a problem that troubled Shi Feng.
Having the blueprints was one thing. The difficulty of actually building the mobile fortress was beyond imagination.
Setting aside the myriad of materials required for the thousands of magical formations, the basic materials needed for the fortress itself — Magic Crystals and Mana Stones — were enough to make any superpower break into a cold sweat.
