At this moment, Elder Nuxin, who had been wishing for nothing more than the complete annihilation of Shi Feng and his group, was feeling confused as he looked at Shi Feng on the field. He even wondered if he had misheard.
Zero Wing was giving up its excellent position, insisting on fighting for control of the Dark World's teleportation gate. Not even the combined superpowers would dare attempt such a thing; they wouldn't even entertain the thought.
The reason was simple. The World Teleportation Gate was the lifeblood of the realm, crucial to every player in the Dark World. If any single faction controlled it, the development of all other players would be severely restricted. This was something no Dark World player would ever tolerate.
The result of such an action would be that every Dark World player would be forced to fight to the death. There would be no such thing as avoiding a conflict because the opponent was too strong; they would fight until the bitter end.
For this very reason, neither they, the Demon's Heart, who held the key, nor any of the major superpowers would even consider such a plan. Not only would they fail to secure control of the World Teleportation Gate, but they would also throw themselves into the abyss.
Yet now, Shi Feng had not only thought of it, but actually done it...
The moment Shi Feng finished speaking, every major faction and independent player in the Dark World exploded in uproar.
"Black Flame has lost his mind! He actually wants to control the lifeblood of our Dark World!"
"We already did the decent thing by staying out of the fight for Stone Forest City, and now Black Flame is pushing his luck? Does he really think we wouldn't dare make a move against Zero Wing?"
The various factions and players who had originally felt some apprehension toward the Tier 3 knight standing behind Shi Feng now looked at him and his group with all trace of fear gone, replaced entirely by fury. They wanted nothing more than to show Shi Feng right then and there just how powerful the Dark World truly was.
In the blink of an eye, the cohesion that had been gradually dissolving across the Dark World began to coalesce once more. Several Tier 3 experts who had been hanging back at a distance, content to stay out of the fight, started making their way toward Shi Feng and his group of their own accord.
Seven thousand... nine thousand... ten thousand...
In barely a minute or two, over twenty thousand Tier 3 experts had gathered before Shi Feng, every single one glaring at him with killing intent so thick it was almost tangible.
"The guild leader isn't serious, is she?" The female Priest Xilian watched the ever-growing crowd of Tier 3 experts and began to feel a knot of worry tightening in her chest.
With the current Zero Wing Knight Corps of over a thousand Tier 3 NPCs, all of their own Tier 3 players present, and five airships, they could handle upward of ten thousand Tier 3 fighters — but anything beyond that would be genuinely dangerous. And the number in front of them was still climbing.
If every Tier 3 expert in the entire Dark World converged on their position, it would be over for them. They weren't inside Stone Forest City, after all. And if the Dark World's Tier 3 experts fought without holding back, even Tier 3 NPCs wouldn't be able to hold them off.
Moreover, NPCs were not players. Losing one was a serious problem — most major factions kept them primarily as a deterrent and rarely committed them to all-out combat, unless there truly was no other choice.
"Guild Leader Black Flame, are you serious?" Dawn Dominion took a deep breath, his gaze toward Shi Feng turning ice-cold.
He could have ignored Zero Wing's previous conflicts with the superpowers, but this was directly tied to the guild's future development — a few words alone wouldn't settle it.
"Absolutely!" Shi Feng said with firm conviction.
Before this, he had never considered seizing the Dark World's teleportation gate, but circumstances had changed. The Knight Order's development had far exceeded his imagination, and its combat strength was far more than what it appeared on the surface.
If the Dark World's teleportation gate had opened elsewhere, he truly would have had no way to deal with it. But in the Cold Spring Great Forest where the Knight Order was operating, failing to make a massive profit would have been utterly unreasonable.
It had to be known that venturing deep into the Dark World was an extraordinarily difficult feat — even those super guilds likely couldn't manage it. A world completely controlled by dark forces left no room for orthodox guilds to operate, and the same was true for ordinary players.
Yet the Dark World happened to be extraordinarily rich in niche-attribute resources, forcing the major superpowers in his previous life to seek cooperation with Dark World factions. Even at enormous cost, they could only obtain some niche-attribute resources to craft weapons and equipment.
If he let this opportunity slip now, he would likely never find another chance to extract resources from the Dark World again.
"Excellent! It seems Guild Leader Black Flame is dead set on making an enemy of our entire Dark World!" Dawn Dominion laughed immediately. "In that case, let me see what brilliant move Guild Leader Black Flame has to stop us!"
He had originally been troubled by the fact that any hope of profiting from Stone Forest City was completely gone — after all, the combat strength Zero Wing had displayed wasn't something ten-odd thousand Tier 3 experts could handle. They would need to unite the full power of the entire Dark World.
But gathering that kind of power was far, far too difficult.
